Services for everyone

The language lab located in BDA 303A is open to all students, faculty and staff affiliated with Middle Tennessee State University.

1. Multimedia course materials

Foreign language learning students can check out multimedia learning materials in cassette, CD, digital audio (MP3) and video (ASF and MPG) formats

2. Using computers and accessing the Internet

The language lab is designated as an open computer lab by the university. You use use the lab for:

  • Accessing course materials online;
  • Multilingual word processing with Spanish and French spelling checkers and Chinese and Japanese language support;
  • Accessing the Internet such as web surfacing and using email;
  • Authoring and publishing webpages;
  • Digitizing photos and other images;
  • Digitizing audio and videos;
  • Duplicating audio and video cassettes;
  • And more ...
